James' Favorite Toys
Yes, I'm an adult, but I'm still a kid too. The difference is that my
toys are now more expensive. These are my favorites in order:
- SGI 1600 SW Digital Flat Panel
-
For a long time the ultimate in desktop computer displays: 1600x1024
resolution, clear, bright, 32-bit color, and at 110dpi sharp as a
new X-acto knife blade.
I loved the first one so much I had to buy another for work.
The new Apple flat panels are nice too. Maybe it's time to give PPC
Linux a try...
- Suzuki Burgman 650
-
You can see mine on the photo page.
- TiVo
-
It allows you to watch TV according to your own
schedule, not the networks'. Now there's always something
interesting to watch... which is bad if you have other things that
you need to do (like cleaning the house).
- Legos
-
What can I say? They are a classic and timeless source of building
and exploring your imagination.
More to come...
