Top X you don't really need to know, but might be helpful. The count
will go beyond 10 someday...
Don't be suprised if a musician doesn't seem to want shake hands
upon first meeting you. For them their hands are their livelyhood.
And they've all run into people who think that handshakes are a
perfect time for strength / pain endurance contests.
On a related note, don't expect kisses from muscians and singers
either. Cold sores, very bad...
Just because you've got correct change, it doesn't mean you
have to go through the automatic lanes at the tollbooth.
Don't back up more than you have to in a vehicle. Go just enough
that you can shift into forward (drive) and get out of there. 999
times out of 1000 there won't be anything there behind you, just as
when you looked. That 1 time however... Crunch!
From the Motorcycle Operator's Manual (but good advice for car
drivers too): Always use your signal, even when there aren't any
other cars around. It is the one you don't see which is going to
give you the most trouble.
Remember, if it was really an important meeting, they would
have called you at least a week in advance, and sent the agenda the
day before.
You can't "keep honest people honest". Either they are honest, or
they aren't.
And even more advice from children
