Online Tools, Tips, and Tricks

I'm moved a good chunk of my Internet habits to RSS, thanks to the wonders of Google Reader. My Shared Items is a pretty good snapshot of the day's news and opinion that catches my interest. I do have a blog, over on Blogger, but I'm only a very ocassional blogger.
As a big supporter of the ideas of open-source software, I mostly use Mozilla Firefox for web surfing; it's fast, secure, and tends to cut down on issues with viruses and other bad stuff. For instant messaging, I'm using the great "all in one" program, Trillian. And I've just started playing with Skype for Voice-Over-IP telephony; makes keeping in touch a lot easier.
