Current responsibilities involve all aspects of product development:

• Help engage internal and external customers to gather and prioritize requirements
• Provide architectural and design direction for all Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) APIs.
• Serve as the lead technical specialist for Java and C++ Editions of Reuters Foundation API (RFA), a thread-safe, low-latency, cross-platform framework for requesting and publishing financial market data over point-to-point and multicast networks.
• Mentor and assist junior staff in local and off-shore development centers throughout the development process.
• Develop and debug the more complex parts of the product.
• Write and review the documentation.
• Work with the QA team throughout testing
• Prepare, review, and present technical sessions to promote new products to customers.
• Answer support questions and fix problems that cannot be solved by the support channel.  Provide direct support to customers through the online forums.

• One of the designers of the Open Message Model (U.S. Patent Application No.: 11/533,484) and the next-generation Reuters Wire Format.
• Trained staff in Oak Brook and the Bangkok off-shore development centers.
• Served as the lead developer for SFC Java and SFC C++ Developer Kits; Migrated these APIs to several new market data infrastructures while maintaining API compatibility; Significantly improved the performance of parsing and caching; Used Perl and JavaScript to create client-side search engine for reference manual.
• Developed, tested and maintained JDist server used for Internet distribution of market data.
• Worked on Euro, Millennium compliance, and CMM Level 2 programs.
