The Ginghams Color Book
This booklet was published in 1976 under the Whitman Publishing logo. It has 60 pages of pictures to color. The cover shows the 4 girls on a fencerail. The story captions are all in rhyming couplet and show the girls in all manner of activities from painting to napping, from seeing the beach to watching a parade. It's delightful. The product #1083-49 was priced at 49¢ while a later printing has product #1060-31 for 69¢ and both printings bear the Whitman logo. The pictures show other characters such as Mom, Dad, Grandma, and friends. Dear Minxkelly, WHERE CAN I FIND THEM? I get dozens of emails a week from people wanting to buy the paperdolls or coloring books and all I can tell them is to look on ebay. EBAY is where I found each and every one of my Ginghams items. I have none to sell so please do not ask. sorry!
