It's time for Halloween fun!

As the kids are upstairs watching a movie, Minxie starts getting all the party food ready. Her best friend Darcy arrives with daughter Imogene all dressed up as a ballerina. "You are just in time to help!" says Minx.
Darcy helps Minx set out pizza and fried chicken, huge submarine sandwiches and trays of candy, cake and cookies.

Imogene wants to grab some candy, but Mommy Darcy tells her to wait til later, and sends Imogene off to join the others upstairs.
|
|
Darcy and Minx enjoy the quiet rest while they can knowing very soon the other kids from the neighborhood will arrive and the REAL party starts!
|
|
|
|
As each of the neighborhood kids arrive Minxie greets them and sends them upstairs to enjoy the film until everyone has arrived. First to come in are the Lemp sisters from next door. They are a splashing success dressed as mermaids and Emma has even dyed her hair blue! (She never seems to look like her 3 sisters though no one in the neighborhood mentions it much!).

Then Mario and Magda swoop as in vampire twins and Dani and Dorcas DeMarco arrive as a cat and a catty witch!

Buddy Logan arrives as a brown bear with Jude Jensen as a mouse, but Minxie really quacks up when Tammany from across the street waddles in as Baby Houie!
|
|
|
|
Daphne shows up dressed as a spacegirl and Haley from down the block is a spooky ghost, but Minxie just starts to cry as Daddy walks in with 2 surprise guests just in from the airport! It's Cassie and Moonbeam back from the World Tour!
|
|
|
|
Mommy Minxie just hugs Moon kissing her and whispering "I've missed you so much my tender lumpling!" Moon giggles and hugs back "Mommmeee!!! you're squishing meee!!! but you can do it some more!"
Then it is Cassie's turn, Minxie holds back tears of joy with her little ones back home again.

Moon kisses one of her cats hello as Cassie talks to Mommy. "But what can we wear for costumes?" Minx thinks about it then says, "I know! you can wear that sari aunt Liz sent from Bangladesh and Moonbeam can wear her blue dress from the renn faire!" Cassie squeals "Yay!"

Cass moves by Moonbeam, saying "C'mon Moon let's go get dressed and surprise Shandra!!"
They catch her in the family room coming down to tell Mommy the film is almost over. She jumps up and down and hugs Moon. "I CAN'T believe you're back~!!!!" She squeals. Cassie giggles. "You didn't think we'd let you get ALL the halloween candy, did ya?" ha ha haaa! They run off to hurry and get the girls in their costumes before the movie ends.
