Each child gets dropped off at their cabin and are told their luggage will be brought by later tonight. Kevin Roberts is the first to arrive at the boy's cabin and he checks out the place before choosing where he will sleep. There are 5 bunkbeds, each with sleeping bag and a pillow.

Kevin ends up picking the bed closest to the door. There are definite advantages to being the first kid here! He fiddles with his saxophone as he waits for more students to arrive.

Seamus and Nelson walk in the cabin not too much later. Seamus is a trumpet player and has bright red hair and a shy grin. Nelson says he plays the drums and they have to stay in the music room, but he'll be happy to drum on the ladders at night to practice if he has to.

Another kid walks in and says his name is Kevin. The two Kevins laugh and Seamus does the introductions. Kevin Klein tells them he brought his mandolin but also plays guitar.

Seamus tells Kevin to put his mandolin on his bunk so everyone will know which beds are taken. He points to his trumpet on a bunk and Kevin K. smiles and decides to take the bunk above Seamus. He puts his backpack and hat on his bunk as the other three boys check out the cool keyboard.

As Kevin K. takes his turn with the keyboard Butch walks in with his harp. The boys look a little surprised to see a harpist here. "Wow! Kevin says, "I don't know anyone who plays a harp. Is it hard?"

Butch shrugs, "Only at first, and it takes practice, but doesn't everything?"

*** Special thanks to Kathy P. for sending all the wonderful pillows! Each camper will get a pillow to take home with them. I made a sleeping bag for each kid too.
