Just then two boys come in together. Drew and Andy traveled here together from Massachusetts.

Andy smiles and waves at the guys, careful not to drop his trombone. Butch admires Drew's french horn.

Drew and Andy decide to bunk together so Andy puts his trombone on the top bunk. Drew checks out the big green trunk and Kevin comes over. "This must be where we keep our clothes. I hope we get our stuff soon."

Kevin R. tells Butch there is a spot in the lower bunk beneath him, and Butch puts his harp down on the mattress to save his spot.

Another redheaded boy walks in. It sure will be hard to tell kids apart, thinks Kevin R.

Paul introduces himself and shows off his trumpet. "My sister is here too, she plays the cello," he says.

The boys tell each other a little about their families and siblings.

Nelson whistles as a boy walks in with the reddest hair yet. "Wow! I haven't seen so much red hair since St. Patrick's Day!" says Nelson. The new guy giggles and says his name is Brian Sampson.

Nelson notices he isn't carrying an instrument and asks him what he plays. Brian says "I'm a drummer" just as a blond kid walks in behind him.

The blond kid steps up with a big grin, saying "me too! I'm Seth, high Five!" Nelson holds up his hand too, "Me three! Drummers rule!"

The drummer boys all high 5, and air drum to show off their enthusiasm.
