As the girls get to know each other, in walks a girl carrying a dozen bags and backpacks. She is huffing a little under the weight, but manages a smile.

Hi girls, I'm Alyssa and I'm your cabin leader. Let's get you all settled in. If you don't have a bunk yet, pick one now and make your beds. Here are all your things so let's settle in quickly so we can get ready for bed, and I'll check back in a little while. Once you are all unpacked and your bed is made you can change into your pajamas."

Each of the campers finds her bag and takes it over to her bunk. Lila and Lenis decide to bunk together and play "scissors paper rock" to see who gets the top bunk.

Mimi and Lulu take adjoining bunks so they can giggle at night and talk in their secret twins language.
Jennifer climbs up to the top bunk above Mimi cuz she likes the pink pillow.

The girls start to unpack and unroll their sleeping bags.
Uh-oh! Kusafiri makes the mistake of looking down as she climbs on the ladder. Hmmmm maybe top bunk isn't such a good idea! She'll get over it, she thinks.

Kelly and Lenis make their beds on the top bunk while Heidi and Lila settle in on the bunks beneath them.

Snoots looks quite happy to take the only pillow as Lila Jean unrolls the sleeping bag.
Heidi starts to put her things in the nearest footlocker.
