Jamie plays piano to accompany the kids as Uschi conducts. The children practice scales and simple accompaniments to become accustomed to each others playing capabilities.

Paul, Seamus, and Kusafiri practice with their trumpets, then Kevin and Lila Jean come in to practice their saxophone skills.

Lulu and Mimi perfect with their clarinet playing as Alyssa joins in with her brass pennywhistle.

Uschi conducts Drew on his french horn, Maggie on her tuba and Andy with his trombone as the brass blasts fill the room! There are some mighty impressive blowhards in this crowd.

A new girl named Trixie comes in to conduct so Uschi can play recorder with the girls as Ari, Heidi and Lenis show off their flutist perfection (or near perfection as Lenis and Heidi hit one or two sour notes, but soon leave the lemons behind!)

It's time for the strings to shine as Kelly plays her acoustic guitar, Kevin K. plucks his mandolin, Butch plays his harp and Jennifer excels with her cello. Trixie is impressed she says, before the kids leave and Trixie sets up the equipment for the final practice class of the day.

The joint is really jumping as the boys with the noise practice their unique skills on the drums. Seth, Nelson and Brian jam away for several minutes before Trixie taps her baton to get their attention then leads them through some fairly sedate pieces, and finishes with a march.

After that the kids are free for the rest of the day and can play in the gameroom, explore the nearby woods, or just hang out in their cabins After dinner they are expected to practice on their own, but the camp leaders won't enforce that.
