PAGE 4: the Grand Finale!

With giddy anticipation the children begin their grand performance, watched by the campers from across the lake, and knowing their triumphs (or failures!) will be shared with the world thru the internet. GULP!

Uschi conducts as five of the children come forward to play the first number, titled "Stomp."

Seth and Brian play their drums. The foundation of this rhythmic piece is a deep booming bass drumbeat, and lively trumpeting from Paul and Kusafiri.

The trumpets blare and lighten the heavy bass drum as Kevin's tender mandolin plucking gives the offbeat tune a swingy feel to it.

The music speeds up and finishes with a lively crescendo!

The next number is "La Flute de Pan" by Paul Wachs. Alyssa conducts the simple but charming tune featuring 2 flutes and a harp. Trixie accompanies them on the piano for a subtle background.

Hear the music!(midi)

Heidi and Arianna play most elegantly on their flutes as Butch soulfully plucks the strings of his harp.
