Fun with string art!

Later in the afternoon a few of the kids enjoy a little fun with string. Trixie shows them how to take 2 colored dowel rods, tie them together at the center and loop colored yarn around the wood to make really cool geometric patterns. It's simple and easy and the kids love it.

Jennifer does her piece in purple and red while Mimi chose yellow and green for her primary colors.
Lulu chose to put a lot of green in her string art. Next to her Kevin smiles saying "mine is the biggest one of all!"

Heidi and Seth proudly show off their masterpieces.
Flora has lots bright yellow to perk up her creation and Sheena is quite pleased with the purple and red contrasts in her design. It will make a great present for her Mom.

I will edit and upload the photos and stories as fast as I can so check back often for new stuff.
