Pictures of my Forestmen's Stronghold
This creation was made with a Tyco set I found at a Kmart for
only fifteen dollars. It came in a hard green plastic case, and
the set is numbered 5292 Adventure military Series: Combat
Battle Tank. It came with ludicrous minifigs, which I gave away.
It contains tons of slopes and reverse slopes and those
triangular pieces only Tyco makes. I loved all the dark green
flat-topped tiles included as well as the hinged reversible
pieces that allow for almost any angle of building. I kept
things simple here, just wanted a basic Forestmen's Stronghold,
in their proper colors, with enough of a structure to withstand a
battle. Let's face it, most of their building have far too many
windows to be defendable. At any rate, I only needed a door and
a few L-shaped pieces (which Tyco never made) to finish the
structure.
What you see here is one half of the full building. The other was hinged on, to open and close the interior.
