RITVIK Bricks

Ritvik Megablocks are yet another building brick manufacturer. Their merchandise is at best mediocre, at worst, ineffectual at staying together in whatever shaped you have assembled it. There are a few specialty pieces worth buying the sets for, especially as RITVIK Megablocks are among the cheapest of the building bricks, second only to generic ones without even a company name. They have product lines in GALAXY, DINOBLOKS, LEGEND, and FANTASY genres. Their sets have odd, loose jointed figures, but one or two of them might be useful in some settings.

There is only one I can effectively review, as there has only been one I desired to buy. I will list the others I know of, however.

9403 Fantasy Birthday Party (instructions dated 1994)

This set features a lot of pastels, a lot of flat topped tiles, lots of 1x1x1 round bricks, some rounded baseflats (at 1/2 height not 1/3, leading me to wonder if RITVIK bought out TYCO), and some lovely swanboats which I found useful for my kiddie rides in my amusement park. See the swan ride for a picture. The stickers included make for some cute food tiles which were useful in my restaurants. The pieces, as most of RITVIK's bricks fit poorly together and large buildings are unstable. The figures are useful in my LEGO settings, as this set included a clown and a girl in a dress. Both were used as figures in my amusement park. This set was cheap, 10$ each. I bought two.
