Minx's Ceramic Creations: Bunnies!

Here are photos of the various Runny Babbit projects I have painted at a local ceramics studio.

Bunny Bouquet
May 2000

What a fun little fellow this one was. I covered him with
flowers, big and small, delicate and simple. He is an
explosion of colorful blooms. He took about 13 hours to make.
12" long, 6" wide and 6" tall

The 3 Bunstooges
December 1999

This is one my husband made, joining me for a day at the studio.
You can't see it but he painted tongues sticking out of their
little mouths as if giving someone a raspberry. He wanted to
make them quite rude and was disappointed that their rudeness
did not overcome their cuteness. Charming, aren't they?
It took him about 3 hours to make.
6" wide and 4" tall

Bunnoire
April 2000

This is one of 3 rabbits I painted for myself at Easter. I used
multiple shades and drybrushing techniques to get a furry, textured
look. I had a lot of fun trying new tricks and the trio of bunnies
were the result. Each one took about 2 1/2 hours to make.

The Lapis Lepus

This is my favorite of 3 buns I painted for myself at Easter. I used
multiple shades and drybrushing techniques to get a furry, textured
look. I had a lot of fun trying new tricks and the trio of bunnies
were the result. Each one took about 2 1/2 hours to make.

Cinnabunbun
