The Ginghams Visit Grandma
This paperdoll booklet was published in 1981 under the Whitman Western Publishing Logo and bears the name Susan Morris as the artist. The booklet is set at Grandma's house and a sewing theme, with a small table & chairs, sewing machine, 4 pairs of scissors, each bearing the name of one of the Gingham girls, rocking chair and grandfather clock as the accessories. There are 5 dolls and 4 pages of clothing, consisting of Becky in green with 6 dresses, 1 shawl and 1 hat, Carrie in pink with 6 dresses and 1 hat, Sarah in orange with 5 dresses and 1 hat, Katie in brown with 5 dresses, and their Grandma in blue with 4 dresses and 2 hats. This set was also released with the outer cover with a solid blue background as well as the one shown here with a patchwork quilt background. The set I have has the serial number 1987-33 and the stamped price of 99 cents.
