The girls spend over an hour going through the magnificent Thorne miniature room collection. Photography was limited to personal use-non publishable photos so forgive the limited amount of images here and the fuzziness. That is to honor the wishes of the Art Institute. It was hard to stop the girls (and Auntie Minx!) from drooling at the perfect and extravagant tiny scale rooms representing every possible school of architecture and time period from Asian too modern, rennaissance to baroque, art deco to shaker.

If it were possible I think the gals would have walked right into the rooms to test out the furniture and examine the perfectly arranged table settings, the sculpted statues, the scaled artwork and ornate settings.
