During Tribal Council that night

Mandy walks reluctantly to the tribal council. She keeps her head down and looks at the ground as they all file into the council. She is fighting hard to keep away the tears. She slowly goes over to the ballot box and jots down her vote, "COBRA". She says to herself, "He has polluted the air once too often."

Roxie is determined as she puts her vote in the drum with the others and says "My vote is to vote CJ off the island."

*

Lola seems to have no doubts in her mind as she writes, then addresses the camera. "No question: CJ's history. Two missed challenges, doesn't do much work, and a low score tonight. Send home the deadbeat!"

CJ looks a little sulky and despondent as he says "I vote for Cobra" and makes his vote.

*

Cobra scratches his head as he makes his decision. "Well..geez! I hate to vote anyone out of the tribe! but I have to say, my gut instinct is telling me that CJ has earned the vote....so I will vote that way." He writes "CJ" and puts his ballot in the drum.

*

Lyda Ruth is tearful and downhearted as she spells out "COBRA" then says "I vote for CJ, I am afraid that we don't stand a chance, even tho we have Lola who is a Barbie expert, we are still gonna lose all the way down the line. Moral is real bad right now, so pardon the gloom and doom, it is hard to put so much time into something and keep losing."

FINAL VOTE:

Each player steps to the drum and casts their vote, some taking longer than others, but finally the drum is brought to Gia to count the ballots.

First vote, Cobra.
Second vote, CJ.

She looks each of the boys in the eye, letting them prepare for the possibility of being sent home tonight.

Third vote, CJ.
Fourth vote, Cobra.

"That's 2 for Cobra, 2 for CJ. It could go either way."
Fifth vote, CJ.

She pauses her usual torturously long time before turning the last vote around for everyone to read. "Final vote, CJ. CJ, bring me your torch. The tribe has spoken."

CJ takes a long look around the clearing at his tribe members then brings Gia his torch. she closes the gourd over its end until the flame is extinguished and CJ leaves the clearing.

FINAL WORDS:

CJ is stoic, but has no final words for his tribemates.
