Immunity Challenge #1

It begins with a note in the "tree-mail" a huge basket hanging from a branch where notes from Gia will be left for each team giving them a clue as to the next challenge.
There is a note in the tree-mailbox reading:
one fish, 2 fish, red fish, blue fish,
for the idol, I hope you fish
This one is for immunity folks! someone is getting voted off tomorrow....
Each tribe dons their matching tribal clothes; red for Ocono, blue for Nicarong. The march to Challenge Beach is arduous. The heat is sweltering. Is confidence high or low? Will today bring another victory for Nicarong, or will the tables turn and leave Ocono celebrating? This is the first competition for what has been nicknamed "The Ugliest Statue in the World"!

Battle for the fish and the idol in the first Immunity Challenge

Gia meets you at the Challenge Beach. Her face is smiling in spite of the drizzling rain that seems to continue thru the day.
"Hope everyone got a good night's sleep! I like fish!
Do you like Fish?
One Fish, 2 Fish, Red fish Blue fish?"

"It is said on Kosrae you must try very hard NOT to catch fish. Let's see if that's true. The tribes will alternate and each person gets 1 chance to catch something. If they don't catch a fish on their turn, they are out of the challenge. If they catch a fish, they go to the end of the line and wait their turn to try again. Your tribe will get 1 point for each fish you catch. The team with the most points at the end of the challenge will get the immunity idol. The other team will meet me at Tribal Council tomorrow and vote off one of their team-members. Good luck."

The players line up, alternating from one tribe to the next, slowly but surely each player is eliminated and their fish count is tallied.

Roxie catches 17 fish
Trey catches 30 fish

Lola catches 23 fish
Aggie catches 14 fish

Wanda catches 14 fish
Inita catches 24 fish

Halfway through the challenge
Nicarong has 96 fish, Ocono has 63 fish.

Cobra catches 22 fish
Laura catches 22 fish

Lyda Ruth catches 22 fish
Meghan catches 29 fish

Brooke catches zero fish
Moon catches 22 fish

Mandy catches 15 fish
Pierre catches 13 fish

And the Final Score is!
Nicarong 182 fish, Ocono 122 fish.
Nicarong wins the reward!!!!

Nicarong members each get an ugly immunity necklace and Trey gets to hold the huge Immunity Idol (with Pierre's help) since he caught the most fish.

Ocono is AGAIN sent home in defeat. They will meet under the moon for a Tribal Council.
