Today's tree-mail is on a piece of paper with lots of checkboxes but no items.. it reads:

Find it fast or find it slow

with a scavenger hunt on the BAY.
Finish your list and you will eat hearty
of a chocolate treat and an ice cream party!

Each tribe dons their matching tribal colors; red for Ocono, blue for Nicarong. Nicarong happily wears their immunity necklaces which they won back on last week's immunity challenge.

Nicarong & Ocono Play it cool! in the Eighth Reward Challenge
	You arrive to find Gia standing there with 2 lists. There are tables set up for an ice cream social! Gia smiles and says "Today is a scavenger hunt! divide the list however you want, have 1 or 2 players do it all, or give each player equal number of items, but read all the rules! I will count up all the points, and whoever has the most points will win an ice cream social for their tribe! all flavors of ice cream, cones, banana splits, chocolate syrup, chocolate ice cream pizza! everything cold and delicious, just for the winners!"
The kids just stare at the icy confections, whipped cream, gooey sundaes and milkshakes, frothy malted and all kinds of ice cream. The challenge is another group task. Each tribe gets to search the island bay(of EBAY) for any or all of the listed items. A scavenger hunt decides who gets the brain freeze and who doesn't.
Each tribe worked together (on their individual challenge beach) and had to work as a team to find as many things on the list as possible (in pictures and auctions on ebay). Players were allowed to chat on their private beaches to discuss these and then post their final answers. Pierre brings a rat and an orchid, Trey grabs a lizard!	Lyda Ruth finds a necklace and a seashell.
Lolli finds a sleeping bag, Inita brings a barbie and mosquito net.	Lola finds a swimsuit, net and sunglasses.
Aggie finds mosquito repellent and a seashell, Meggie finds a torch and a balloon.	Mandy finds binoculars, a butterfly and monopoly game.
After Gia tallies the points, both tribes get 36 points for completing the list. Nicarong wins 14 bonus points and Ocono wins 4 bonus points for a final score of Nicarong 50, Ocono 40. Nicarong wins the reward!
	The kids dig in and slurp shakes, lick cones and spoon on the whipped cream!
Added to each Nicarong player's belongings will be a waffle cone and a piece of chocolate pizza or a banana split

Today's challenge is another group task. Each tribe gets to search the island bay(of EBAY) for any or all of the listed items. Search ebay and post or email the item number that you choose.

ITEM MUST MATCH THE LIST: The definitions and rules are fairly lenient. If the item is for example; a banana, then almost anything containing or including a banana would be allowed. Banana COLORED items would not count, but banana SCENTED items would, especially if they contained real banana (like a banana oil shampoo). a likeness or real banana would have to be involved. A stuffed banana, inflatable banana, banana photo, plate with a banana painted on it, banana peel jewelry, carved wax banana, glass banana, banana shaped waterpistol, all of those WOULD count. The hunted item can be in the photo and NOT the description or vice-versa. The hunted item can be a book about bananas, a painting by J.A. Banana. be creative. If an item is disallowed I will tell you asap and you will have one chance only to replace it, with a total of 5 replacements combined for the whole list. No replacements will be allowed once an item number has been posted/emailed UNLESS the item has been disallowed. Feel free to ask me questions to clarify before you pick an auction number. I'll be happy to answer any questions within reason. AUCTION MUST BE CURRENTLY RUNNING. no ended auctions allowed so do not choose an item which will end before midnight central time. ITEM MUST HAVE A CURRENT BID THAT MEETS RESERVE. there must be at least one bid on the item, and reserve must be met if it is a reserve auction. If a bid retraction takes place after the auction number is emailed/posted the item will still be valid since that is beyond any of our control. ditto if the seller ends the auction early or cancels a bid.
