Inita replies "What is best for the survival of the tribe. We have to
think in terms of the group and not individual wants. I think all of us
want to go home for one reason or another. It will be a tough vote for
sure... "
Gia nods. "I am sure it would be. It's time to vote."
Third vote "Marissa"
Fifth vote "Marissa"
Gia gestures to Marissa, "The Tribe has spoken, please bring me your
torch... "
Gia puts out Marissa's torch and she leaves the Tribal Council area.
The walk back to camp is long and silent.
I'd like to say thanks to all the members of my tribe! They made me feel at
home, and safe! I've learned a lot on the island, and will miss everyone, but will be very
glad to get home! I wish you all the best of luck!! Take care of yourselves!

Everyone makes the trek to Tribal Council, it may be the heat, it may be
the rain, or it may be the feelings after a troubled week in Nicarong
Camp. Everyone takes their lit torches and settles in the circle around
the fire.
Gia looks at Laura, "Lollie, alliance, no alliance, partial
alliance...with all the truths and half-truths, ultimately how do you
feel about your tribemates after last week's arguments with Moonbeam
where she originally called out the alliance members and no one stood
up?"

Lolli answers, "really confused and scared...that we are falling apart
and that we can't trust each other anymore...I am mad at myself for NOT
standing up and admitting to being a part of an alliance, when I should
have...but, that is one of the mistakes that I have made....I love my
tribe mates...and I hope that we can rebuild ourselves....because, when
all is said and done...we are still a family! with family pains and
pleasures!"

Gia turns to Inita, "With at least two members here asking to be sent
home, what one thing will influence your vote the most?"
And finally Gia turns to Trey, "Strategy is everything on the island. Is
revealing the alliance NOW before the merge part of the strategy?"
Trey says " I would say yes, only because EVERYONE on the team has been so
miserable since the alliance was discovered. I felt the only way we could be a
team again is to confess about the alliance, disolve it, hope those not in it
will forgive us, and everone become true to the Nicaronge team again. We cannot
merge with Ocono as a team if we are fighting amongst ourselves. They will pick
us apart one by one. I think they have become a small solid team and in order
for us to survive we too must get our solid team back. I don't think this was a
plan for the alliance to reveal ourselves from the beginning, we just realized
an alliance would not work for our team, and tried to correct things as soon as
we could. I just hope it is correctable. I don't think anyone planned on get as
attached as we have to our teammates. We are family."
Everyone walks over to a large drum shaped barrel next to a small
table. Each player writes a name on a slip of paper then folds it up
and puts it in the barrel. As the last player votes they bring the
barrel to Gia. She opens it and pulls out the papers.

Gia opens the drum and reads off the first vote, "Inita"
The second vote reads "Inita"
She pauses and examines each face in turn.
Fourth vote "Marissa"
Gia has two piles in front of her now, "That's 2 for each girl."
Gia pauses, "If this next vote is for Marissa, she's going home."
Sixth vote "Marissa...I'll read the last one just in case of future
ties." It too reads Marissa.
