She gestures to the boxes and packs, "Here are your supplies, including a map to your camp. Enjoy your hike and I'll see you in 2 days!"

People move quickly, opening the box to see all kinds of containers, 6 small wooden barrels labeled "oats", a bottle of aspirin, one of vitamins, a big waterjug, a cooking pot. Someone starts dividing the items into the backpacks, which you are surprised to find already contain people's personal belongings. The huge crate will be useful, but can only be carried empty, so everyone starts to divvie up the weight. In addition there is a map, a knife, a green tarp, a roll of netting of some sort, 1 bar of soap, 1 tube of sunscreen, a small shovel, and other sundry items. It's a lot to carry but you manage to share the load with your team members. Several people glance at the map but as you see the other team moving out, you hurry towards the direction indicated by your map. You try to remember a few names, but think there will be time to talk more on the trip and once you are at camp.
