Waltham Pocket Watch

Just curious what you estimate my grandfather's pocket watch is worth? This model was made for many years, but I have not found specific information on its many variations.

  • American Waltham Watch Company
  • Appears to be 12s, Model 1894 (no specific model indicated).
  • Serial Number: 1677XXXX, Circa 1909.
  • Demaskeend (etched scrolling on works).
  • 14K gold filled Dueber case, approximately 1-5/8" O.D..
  • Still runs, but not used for many years, likely needs cleaning and lube.

The action is demaskeened and has gold colored gears. No indication of specific model or number of jewels (just "A.W.W.Co. Waltham, Mass."). Inside case back has Dueber name with 14K, anchor trademark and serial number. Hand etched tiny numbers require a magnifying glass to see (part numbers or calculations?). Significance of hand etched name "Mary Boulet" is unknown.
