The Bucharest Bugle

Welcome to the Bucharest Bugle, a collection of emails that I wrote from Romania from March to July 1998. The describe my discovery of Romania and Romanians during the four months that I worked there. I hope you enjoy this experience as much as I did.

The reporting will be spotty as I have seen only bits and pieces of the country, photographed less of it and understood even less of that. With time, it might grow to be a more complete picture. For now, we will just enjoy what we see.
