
Forest Home Cemetery has its roots -- so to speak -- and has 19th-century styles as well. Here is is a monument in the "tree trunk with broken branch" style that I have mentioned elsewhere.

This carving of twins (?) seems very Victorian in style. More interesting yet is the collection of baubles that decorate it. Beads, marbles, small items of jewelry. What could it all mean?

Of sterner stuff is this matronly figure mourning something or other. Not someone you would care to interrupt.
