Images of Chicago

The autumn has been very mild but recently temperatures plummeted and a friend of mine called to tell me that the lake was steaming. This only happens when there is a sharp differential between the temperature of the lake and the air. It will probably be the only time this year that it happens. Above, the entrance to Montrose Harbor.
