Karen Miller made these in the 70's and 80's from inspirations found in National Geographic magazines. When she had to thin out her collection I just couldn't resist and only illness and a lack of fripping wadges of cash stopped me from winning all the auctions. They are delightful and her workmanship and attention to authenticity and detail make them museum worthy in my opinion. If I had to choose one favorite of the bunch it would be the Bali dancer with her lovely headdress. None of these dolls shown are for sale, sorry! All rights belong to the artists involved. |
