After clearing out the foyer area, the next game is set up. Mommy Minx calls it "Ick Yuk Blech!" 3 bowls are hidden under a big tablecloth.
Mommie Minxie explains that for the last game the players will be blindfolded. Shandra will help run this game and the winner will get a big stuffed bat. It's all spangly and shimmery!

10 of the kids have blindfolds tied over their eyes so they can't see a thing. Shandra helps them not fall all over each other.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Shandra pulls off the tablecloth as Minxie tells the players that they have to put their hands into the three bowls and using only their touch, they have to figure out what each thing really is! The first girl to guess all three should call Shandra and whisper her guesses to Shandra. If correct, they win the prize!

|
|
Shandra leads the girls to the table and tells them the first bowl is boiled monkey hearts, the second is brains! and the third bowl is intestines! eeeueueeueuew!
|
|
|
|
Deanna and Emma squeal as they put their hands on the monkey hearts! They are wet, squishy, slippery, and a little warm!
|
Molly and Lorena have their fingers in the brains! It feels cold and wet and sticky, clumpy with little clumps. yuk!
|
|
|
|
Allie puts her hands into the bowl of monkey hearts where Mags is giggling as her hand goes into the bowl with a splooshing noise!
|
Allie, Cookie and Dorcas make blechy noises as the intestines seem to wrap around their fingers and wiggle in their hands! They are slippery and oily and stringy and gross!
|
|
|
|
Dorcas just can't figure out what the monkey hearts are, but Daphne thinks she knows, so she moves onto the bowl of brains.
|
Moonbeam and Emma have NO CLUE what the intestines could be so they keep squishing them in their hands.
|
|
|
|
As the girls ick, yuk and blech their hands in the bowls Deanna shouts as she thinks she knows all three answers! She calls for Shandra and whispers her guesses into Shandra's ear. Yes! She is correct and Deanna wins the game!
|
|
|
|
The other girls take off their blindfolds and Deanna gets the cool bat for her prize.
|
|
|
|
Minxie has a wet cloth to wash off all the players' hands as she laughs and tells them the monkey hearts were stewed tomatoes, the brains were tapioca pudding with raisins! and the intestines were spaghetti!
