Christmas Eve 2003
Christmas Eve was bittersweet this year. Candy and Bob have decided to
move to Virginia and this will be our final Christmas Eve at their
home. Although the photography
is not my best effort, I
trust the following
pictures will provide a plethora of wonderful memories from this event
and many past events. All
our family members
sincerely thank Candy, Bob, Jennifer and Jeffrey for many
years of inviting us into their home and for being the gracious hosts
for our annual Christmas Eve celebration. Christmas
Eve will not be quite the same again. We all wish for a safe move to
Virginia and much health and happiness in the future for Candy, Bob,
Jennifer and Jeffrey.

Bob is looking around for a better gift - this one looks too feminine.

Jennifer is checking out the gifts of others too, but I think she wants
to
keep that gift paper holder.

Jeffrey and Friend - I hope Jeff is looking for some shoes as his gift
of
choice.
Also, Jeff deserves a thank
you for taking each of our pictures for inclusion in our party
favor bag - nice touch!

Christina, Martin (Hap), Andrea and Rick (above Hap) seem to be
enjoying the gift trading.
Please forgive Hap's strange expression. He is trying to smile, but he
is suffering from Bell's Palsy.
Fortunately, the facial nerve condition subsided after a few
weeks and Hap is back to looking "normal" again.

Final Gifts - Christina looks happy with her Neat Sheet.
After all, college students need and appreciate practical items now.
Finally, a big reason why Christmas Eve is so special - the
delicious food and wonderful ambiance.
Thanks again Candy, Bob and Kids. We love you and will miss you.
I hope you enjoyed seeing our family gathering. Stay tuned -
Christmas Eve will be different next year.
Check back and see how the family carries on the grand tradition of
celebrating Christmas Eve.
