TITLE: Spiced Meatballs

   MEATBALL INGREDIENTS
   1 pound ground beef                3/4 c. seasoned breadcrumbs
   2 T. finely chopped onion          1 T. catsup
   4 drops hot sauce                  1/2 t. prepared horseradish
   2 eggs, well beaten                1/2 t. salt
   1/4 t. pepper                      1 T. grated parmesan cheese

   SAUCE INGREDIENTS
   2 to 3 T. butter or margarine      1/2 c. catsup
   1/2 c. chili sauce                 1/4 c. cider vinegar
   1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar   2 T. finely chopped onion
   1 T. Worcestershire sauce          4 drops hot sauce
   1/2 t. dry mustard                 3 drops Angostura bitters
   1 t. salt                          1/4 t. pepper

   Chopped green onion (optional)































  Combine MEATBALL ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well,
  and shape into 1 inch balls.  Saute in butter until browned;
  drain well, and set aside.

  Combine remaining ingredients except green onion in a large
  saucepan, bring to a boil.  Reduce heat, and simmer for 5
  minutes.  Add meatballs, and simmer an additional 10 minutes.
  Transfer to a chafing dish, and keep warm.  Garnish with chopped
  green onion, if desired.  Yield: about 3-1/2 dozen.

  I garnished with pineapple and mandarin oranges.
