This Overall Privacy Statement is patterned after requirements set forth in the
TRUSTe program and is in
compliance with TRUSTe privacy principles. This statement discloses the
privacy practices for the entire Web site unless otherwise clearly noted.
TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit initiative whose mission is to build
users’ trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the principles of
disclosure and informed consent. Because this site wants to demonstrate
its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information
practices and have its privacy practices patterned after those defined

Visitors to certain pages (including the home page) are logged in such a
way as to indicate the system/proxy used to visit this site - for example,
"173-135-117.ipt.aol.com" is an entry in the log, which shows someone from
America On Line visited this site, however, 173-135-117.ipt is a proxy server
that does not (and can not) identify the user. When visit
information is made publicly available, server information has been removed.
Because we do not link IP addresses to any personally identifiable information,
it is considered to be anonymous.
Throughout this site, email links are available to allow visitors to
contact members of Visions staff directly with any questions or comments
they may have. Visitors who send email via these links, implicitly, if not
explicitly, provide their name and email address. All correspondence sent
to the administrator of this site (tardis@xnet.com)
is considered confidential and will not be made public without the sender's permission.
However, mail sent to any other committee member may or may not be held in
confidence - please ask the person you are writing to, or ask me first.
One page, in particular, asks for your name, postal address,
email address, and phone number. This information is maintained in a log file for
archival purposes, and is forwarded to Bob McLaughlin, Visions Chairman (for Visions postal mailings), and George Fergus
(for Visions periodic email updates). There is a checkbox that, by default, allows
the sender to indicate that all information provided should be kept private.
This site uses the information collected via email to respond to questions
or comments. We may also use your comments to improve the site, discard the
information, or share it with third parties if expressly authorized by the sender.
Information submitted in our Forum is made publicly
available, and is implicitly considered public information when submitted. The
administrators of this site, along with Her Majesty's Entertainment Incorporated,
reserve the right to smooth over blatently offensive language/comments - however,
any modification of submitted comments will be so noted with [[surrounding brackets]].
Information gathered for our mailing lists is used to send you periodic paper flyers
(via postal mail), and/or occasional email updates about Visions.
Information submitted for our mailing lists is NOT under
the control of the administrator of this web site. Therefore, no ultimate guarantee
of privacy is currently available.
HOWEVER, I have also been told that street addresses provided through this page, were
given to our designated Travel Agency in order to solicit registered attendees for travel
needs. I do not know if any further use was made of this address list. If you
selected "Privacy", and you believe that providing your address to a Travel Agency
is a violation of your request to have your information kept private, please voice
your concerns publicly in our forum, or privately via
email to Visions Chairman.
All other records of visits/email are not shared
publicly or with third parties, unless the sender authorizes such use.
