Q: I realize that with the start of a new show there will be a period where the staff writers will handle all the writing chores should the show become a series. If the show goes to series, how soon would it be before agented material is looked at and will you ever look at unrepresented material a la Star Trek? - 4/19/96

Phil: If Doctor Who goes to series, it would probably be several seasons before outside submissions would be accepted. The writers have to find their own sea legs first.
