Q: Just saying we had a party here and we loved the movie. The only problem was the 1/2 human bit. Could you please explain why? - 5/17/96

Phil: We wanted to explore more of the doctor's origins which have obviously been bolted on over the years. His half human status felt like a compelling addition to his character and, after all. since its inception, Doctor Who has grown and changed and this is just another growth spurt! :)
