Q: There seems to be a bit of confusion over precisely what happened at the end of "Enemy Within." The way I saw it, the TARDIS had to be moved away from the stroke of midnight (by going backwards in time) in order to remove its Eye of Harmony entirely from the area and thus stop the destruction of the Earth. Others have pointed at certain visual clues in the story that seem to suggest that the TARDIS was actually rewinding time over the Earth to undo the damage the Eye had done. Which of these explanations is correct?
