PSegal      : It has come down to two dates, May 14 or May 21 we should
know by the end of next week which one.

PSegal      : All the FX are done, I'm working on the Main Title now. We
will finish and deliver by May 1st.

PSegal      : I have discussed the return of UNIT and old Monsters. I hope
they listen to me.

PSegal      : With so many people involved in this production keeping
everyone focused on protecting this has been very hard. We could know the
fate of the show before it airs if it tests very well with a sample
audience. We could know as late as Christmas, it depends on how fast Fox
wants to make a decision.

COL TLord  :  QUESTION: WHAT ABOUT FOX LISTING THE POSSIBLE NEW SERIES?

PSegal      : I was thrilled. All this really means is that Doctor  Who is
officially a Fox Pilot.

PSegal      : We do know their is a BAFTA screening planned for the 13th of
May in London.  The Video will then go on sale. As for an air date it will
be later than the US premiere. They are afraid of Pirates.

PSegal      : No, but he is nervous about public appearances. It's
not an easy thing for anyone, harder for some.

PSegal      : First of all I not quite sure what my involvement
will be at this point. Second, If I'm involved I will ask Terrence Dicks to
come on board. He does not know this yet but I will. Jean Marc and Randy
Lofficier, introduced me to them and I was very
greatful for that, he is great. I hope they listen to me.  You must all
remember, unlike JNT I've got many chiefs who all have their own agenda.
It's hard.

TomFODW    : QUESTION: WILL THERE BE A SOUNDTRACK CD?

PSegal      : And I know it sounds defeatest but I'm very tired,
it's been along road.

PSegal      : Yes, I believe BBC is planning a soundrack CD. Interesting
story, I had a fight with Universal over the music, they don't like it.
But thanks to my friends at FOX and BBC we won that round.

TomFODW    : QUESTION: SHOULD UNIT RETURN, WILL JOHN LEVENE BE
ASKED TO REPRISE HIS ROLE OF BENTON?

PSegal      : I was very sad and happy all at the same time. Sylvestor
McCoy is a wonderful person. I was fortunate to be able to spend some time
with him and we discussed that. He is sad too but
I think we both feel that the handover will go down as one of the best.

PSegal      : Stay tuned, we have not violated the Doctor's moral  code of
ethic's, we have opened up his character to a larger audience. I promise
you won't be upset. The kiss is tasteful.

PSegal      : Cast's from the past are always a fun fixture to any TV
series I think.  We shall have to wait and see

TomFODW    : QUESTION: MANY FANS WORRY THAT THE DOCTOR HAS BEEN  TOO
HUMANIZED (I.E., ROMANCE). HAS HE?

PSegal      : Is Worf human, was Spock human. No, but they  portrayed human
qualities. I think Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Baker, Davidson, Baker,
McCoy all had human qualities but they were all playing aliens. Why can't
Paul's doctor carry on that tradition.
After all, we will never no what went on in the Tardis when we tuned out at
the end of every show!

TomFODW    : QUESTION: CAN WE EXPECT ONGOING PLOTLINES THAT COULD BE PICKED
UP IN THE SERIES OR MORE MOVIES?

PSegal      : When warranted yes. We want to be teated as a continuation of
the Mythology. Not some outcast like the Cushing movies.

TomFODW    : QUESTION: ARE THERE PLANS FOR A US VIDEO RELEASE SOON AFTER
THE FILM IS BROADCAST HERE?

PSegal      : Universal will probably wait and see how the UK  release
does. Also, Fox has a second run before that happens.

THESE ON-LINE SESSIONS?

PSegal      : May be before it airs if we can work something out. He has a
very tight schedule. He will be in the US to promote the film towards the
end of April. I will be in London next week for Manopticon. Also, the
script book with my intro comes out end of
April.

PSegal      : No, I felt it was too good to change. So why change it.

PSegal      : I read the folder every day. It's my only source for Who news.

PSegal      : Bill and I have spoken. He is very talented. We are
discussing trying to do something together.

PSegal      : I'm not aware of any toy deals as of yet.

is one of those things that if not handled properly will go terribly wrong.
