Entertainment shorts Comedian John Candy will star in ''Uncle Buck'' a comedy about a ne'er-do-well bachelor who is suddenly left in charge of his nephew and two nieces, ages 6-15. The movie, scheduled to begin production in Chicago in January, reunites Candy with director John Hughes. They last worked together in the comedy ''Planes, Trains and Automobiles.'' The screenplay for''Uncle Buck'' was written by Hughes who is also producing the film with Tom Jacobson. |
