LanguageDoctor.com is here to help you learn a foreign language faster and more efficiently by providing an intelligent tutoring system for vocabulary, grammar, and spelling. The system creates a progression of increasingly challenging exercises which are individually paced and customized for each student. Think of it as your own personal tutor, keeping you continually engaged in the learning process while ensuring that you don't waste precious time studying things you already know. A full explanation is available for every missed answer, so you get instant feedback on any concepts or words that you're having problems with. The system is web-based, so you can use it on any Internet-connected computer — at work or at home — without having to install any special software.

We recommend that you use LanguageDoctor.com as a study aid in conjunction with a regular Mandarin course, although you are of course free to use it by itself. To find out more, click on the "Get Started" link in the main menu on the left-hand side of your browser window, or to jump right in and take a test drive click on the "Exercises" link instead.

At present the system is limited to English-speaking students who are learning Mandarin (Chinese), but it may be expanded to other languages later if there is demand for that. This service is currently free, but we reserve the right to charge for it in the future.
